Frequently Asked Questions
Plan management is when a registered provider (like us!) helps you manage the funding in your NDIS plan. We take care of paying invoices, keeping track of your budget, and making sure everything is claimed correctly - so you can focus on your goals.
We take care of:
- Paying invoices (fast processing times!)
- Helping keep track of your budget
- Monthly budget reports
- Access to our secure app for real-time updates
- Advice on NDIS price limits and claims
- Friendly, expert help
There’s no out-of-pocket cost for plan management.
The NDIS sets aside separate funding in your plan to cover it - so it doesn’t affect your other supports.
We are paid $104.45 max per participant, per month - irrespective of how many invoices each participant has or how much work we do.
Getting started with Pure Plan Management is simple:
Step 1: Sign the Service Agreement (SA)
Review and complete our SA / referral from here on our website (www.pureplan.com.au)
- If possible, upload a copy of your NDIS plan, or email it to us later at hello@pureplan.com.au.
Step 2: Endorse Us as Your Plan Manager
You can provide the NDIS with the following details to help them match us:
- Plan Manager: Imbi Grass trading as Pure Plan Management
- Provider Number: 4050099171
- ABN: 27 332 682 892
Or, once the form is submitted, we’ll email easy steps to endorse us through your My Place portal or over the phone with the NDIS.
Step 3: Welcome Onboard!
We’ll set you up in our system, send you a welcome email with portal access, and walk you through approvals, reimbursements, and anything else you need to know.

There are three ways your NDIS funds can be managed:
- Plan-managed: We handle the admin and payments for you. You still choose your providers—including unregistered ones—and stay in control.
- Self-managed: You do it all yourself—paying providers, managing budgets, and keeping records.
- NDIA-managed (agency-managed): The NDIA pays only registered providers directly. You have less flexibility and control.
Plan management gives you support with the boring bits - without giving up choice.
You can choose how invoices are approved - we’ll set it up to suit you.
Manual Approval (recommended):
You approve each invoice before we claim it. We’ll email you when one’s ready to check.
Auto Approval:
We process invoices for you. You’ll still see everything in your portal and get a monthly report.
Tip: Manual approval gives you more control and helps catch errors - but we’re happy to go with what works best for you.
Yes, definitely! With plan management, you can choose the people who work best for you. You are in control!
You can use registered or unregistered providers. Once you've chosen someone, ask them to attention the invoice to the NDIS participant, with their NDIS number and send their invoices to:
invoices@pureplan.com.au
* TIP: a pdf format is preferred and help us process the invoices more efficiently
Easy! Just email the receipt or paid invoice to invoices@pureplan.com.au and note that it’s a reimbursement.
If it’s your first time, please include your BSB and account number so we can pay you once the NDIS releases the funds.
Absolutely. You can switch plan managers at any time. Check your service agreement for notice periods and we’ll help make the transition smooth.
Yes, you can change how your plan is managed at any time.
Just contact the NDIS or your LAC or planner and let them know. If plan management isn't currently in your plan, you can request it - there’s no extra cost to you.
Please reach out. You can:
- Call or email us
- Use the feedback form on our website
- Ask a trusted support person to help you
We take your concerns seriously and aim to sort things out quickly.
Yes! We’re a virtual service, so we can support you no matter where you live in Australia.
To meet NDIS requirements, an invoice must include:
- Your full name (the participant - not the carer or plan manager)
- Your NDIS number
- Support dates
- Support item number (line-item ID)
- Hours/quantity
- Unit price
- Total amount
- The provider’s ABN
PDF format is best - clear and easy to process.
- Plan Managers (that’s us!) handle your NDIS finances and help you stay in control.
- Support Coordinators help you find services and make your plan work for you.
- Local Area Coordinators (LACs) help you understand and access the NDIS.
- Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) partners support families with young children.
Each plays a different role - but all aim to support your goals.
